Danyru is three different types of demon: These are Yōkai, Succubus, Shadow.
Shadow:
History
Shadow Demons are the masters of illusion and teleportation. They use shadows as the basis of their power. Their abilities are the most unique and mysterious amongst all the races which is why they have earned the names of 'dark fairies' and 'nymphs'.
When it comes to teleportation, they can bring small objects (depending on mass) right into thin air from another location. However they must have already seen the object and know exactly where it is; and the object can't be very far away. The farthest would be perhaps a hundred yards away; depending on how much material is in the way. If the demon has to teleport the object through several buildings and walls, then the distance has to be shorter. If there are more shadows around their ability strengthens and the distance can be slightly further.
In teleporting themselves, the same idea is involved. They must know where they are teleporting to; and what the area looks like. So in other words they have to of been in that area before if they are going to teleport there. They can only teleport into a shadow; which is where the term 'shadow jumping' comes from.
Free Jumping is term used when a demon teleports to a place without prior knowledge of where they are jumping to. This is Highly dangerous and not recommended as you can appear in the sky, underground, or within a wall.
Illusions is another one of the abilities Shadow Demons have; and they use it for just about everything. Depending on their power however, not everyone can be fooled by their spell. The older a shadow demon is, the more they can influence a mind with their illusionary skills, and the more people they can fool.
They can create shadows a fake clone of themselves; which is useful in a situation where they are forced to fight they can play possum for an example by making it look like they had died. They cannot however; make illusions physical. For an example; A shadow demon cannot make an illusion of a knife and actually hurt someone with it.
The downside to all the shadow demons they aren't exactly pysically strong; They don't have a lot of mass, so there's a limit. Compared to a human, they are indeed extremely strong which is why they can jump so high and do such acrobatic movements. They're very strong for speed and acrobatic reasons, but are still light and thin.
Danyru:
Danyru is slightly skilled in the art of shadow jumping and collecting items, When in panic or a highly emotional state she struggles to maintain the mental power needed in order to perform the simplest of these tasks.
She has tried her hand at illusionary skills by creating images of goblets and plates they are almost transparent and easily seen through. Although her teacher was impressed by her untrained skill in this and thinks that it can be developed into a rather strong skill.
Succubus:
History:
A succubus is a demon who takes the form of a woman to seduce men to have sexual intercourse. In modern times, a succubus is often depicted as highly attractive, and when has found a target sends "pulses" of lust at them increasing the awareness of the male target. To the victim this apparently feels like a gentle pull on the shirt or a heavy press on the chest, depending on how hungry the Succubus is. A Succubus draw energy from the men to sustain themselves, often until the victim becomes exhausted and eventually dies.
One account from a lucky survivor stated "She was everything i wanted in a woman, tender, kind and incredibly sexy. This leads us to the conclusion that a Succubus will appear to be that man's ideal woman enticing him further.
A Succubus is unable to bare children and relies on the male counterpart an Incubus to use the semen she collected from her victims to impregnate a human female.The child Succubus were supposed to be those that were born deformed, or more susceptible to supernatural influences.
Danyru:
In Danyru's case she was a Virgin Succubus, until she recently came of age and her powers came forth enticing an individual until he could not be stopped and he raped her. This man did not died as he was already undead and regained his composure to push her away.
This left Danyru in a trance like state for five days as her body learned to process the energy it had drained. After she awoke she found her body had gone under certain changes, she was now slightly stronger with her ablilties and once black hair had turned to almost beached white.
Although she has better control over her "Seduce skill" when frighten or in pain she will send out random waves of "seduction" in hopes that an attacking target will falter and she can escape. Sometimes this can be instinctive and can easily cause problems for herself as well.
Yōkai:
History
Yōkai are a class of preternatural creatures in Japanese folklore ranging from the evil oni (ogre) to the mischievous kitsune or snow woman Yuki-onna. Some possess part animal and part human features. Yōkai generally have a sort of spiritual or supernatural power. Yōkai that have the ability to shape-shift are called obake.
Danyru
This is currently a untapped power of Danyru's as she unaware of it.
When she learns to use these skill she will be able to take the form of animals and persons alike.
Although she can replicate the form completely and perfectly there are many things that she can not replicate such as, Scent, Skills, Memory's and mannerisms.
When in animal form she is shunned by other animals as she does not smell like them, other braver animals do find her curious and will try to act with her unable to understand their body language and their motives leaves are at a lost.
Same with creatures like vampires, neko's and some demons. If she took a form of being known to them her scent would deceive her and they would discover her.
Also being talked to at length would also make apparent that she is not who she is trying to be.
