its been a while since ive written anything in this journal. hmm well i guess today ill talk about my tia dying from alzhimers in florida as we speak. i saw her this past week. i knew it meant a lot to my mom. my mom basically grew up with her and shes the reason my mom and aunts and grandparents actually got out from cuba over 20 years ago. She paid for each of them to get legally out. 4k each. they r all citizens now but basically without this aunt i never would have been born since my mom met my dad once she was here. well i didnt know this aunt very well...and for that i am sorry. i'm sorry i never asked much about her or felt the need to visit when i had the chance. now that i do visit she doesnt know who i am. she thinks im her daughter from about 15 years ago...it hurts my mom a lot to see her this way but i know it means a lot to her that at least all of us got to spend some time with her together one last time... neutral
