Silence's ears picked up a distant cry from somewhere, but ignored it. He then started to recover from shock and move to protect his men, but then something flew above him at an incredible rate of speed. Then several more flew by, coordinated and ordered like military jets. They flipped over and dove into the crowd, then picked up several of Silence's team. They then threw the grunts into the air and tore them to shreds at full speed. One landed next to Silence, and he got a good look at it as it analized him and match him. As soon as it knew this was one of the primary targets, it screeched. It had wings with extra joints that allowed them to fold so they could bend like arms when folded. It had hands right where the wings folded to form the end of an arm, with birdlike legs that could fold up to prevent wind resistance while flying. The tail was flat so it would also act as a way to control direction of flight and swim at top speeds. Its entire body was sleek and almost in an arrow shape, but since it was created by humans it didn't have a natural colour so it was ghostly white with veins visible along its body. Its entire epidermis was a shell, so it could absorb bullets. Its eyes were similar to cat's eyes and bird's eyes to allow far sight and night vision. It was like the thing from a nightmare. It jumped up at Silence, but suddenly flew over his head and grabbed him instead of tackling like Silence expected an animal to. He was tossed into the air, unable to defend himself.

He was fair game to all those monsters in the sky.
