I fall asleep under moonless skies
I lie all night with waking eyes
They look above and search the stars
While my head rests in distant dreams
I sleep all night, bask in what is ours
As reality comes apart at the seams
And I walk in my imagination
Watching through my sleeping eyes
The worlds creation and annihilation
With my humanities rise
Tossing to and fro
Where the fire bugs glow
And the trees are all in bloom
Where my minds at peace
And the black days can cease
Lost in a dream, until a sunshine beam
Hits my face and warms my heart
I awake at dawn, in the spring of life
And try again to live a good one
Beside the flowing stream
I don't need to scream
I can sleep and float away
Into my dreams, and enjoy my imagination
