The Mind
Mainly a record of my more interesting dreams that I was able to remember after waking up. (Apparently my uncontrollable confessions, as well. In the form of poetry. All to the same man.)
6/25/10
Two months and 4 days since I've put something in here. I've had some definitely note worthy dreams since my last

post, but none of them I really wanted to share with the public... But I found the two I had last night rather interesting.

The first dream started off with me dreaming about 4 people who had gotten too far from the shore. There were three

young men and one girl. one of the guys convinced the rest to have a race back to shore, so they all started

swimming. One of them was an excellent swimmer, who had won several prizes, and the other three were fairly

average. The three average swimmers never made it back to shore, as sharks had gotten to them. When I woke up

in my dream, there was a small shark on top of me trying to eat me. After struggling several minutes with trying

to keep it away from my head, I threw it on my floor and it wormed its way under my bed, still somehow very much

alive despite the lack of water. A few moments later I literally jumped to my door (the distance between my bed and

door IS something I can jump), and the shark headbutted my ankles rather hard. I kicked it and ran out of my room.

Throughout the rest of the day in my dream, I had refused to step foot back in my room because it had acquired a very

dark aura. (I'm not a ridiculous paranormal freak or anything, but I do get a certain paranoia that alerts me of strange

things.) I refused t go back in my room because it felt like death, not because of the shark. My mom kept telling me

that my room was just fine and that I was just being silly. So I went outside to my front yard and ended up talking to

some of my neighbors (who really didn't look anything like my real neighbors), and told them about the shark. They

all understood and we got on the topic of "Thank God no one's dead." One of the neighbors pointed under this

perfectly white truck to what looked like an arm sticking out, saying, "What about them?" We all looked and it was a

dead man, covered in fresh car oil... A man who had been buried in the cemetery the other day. And then a large, gray

snake came out of the truck cabin and struck at me. I backed away and a few of the neighbors hit it with long sticks. It

retreated to the unnaturally white truck, while I retreated to the yard. Well, the snake jumped off the truck towards me

and started throwing sharp objects at me. It would pick something up with its mouth and hurl it at me! One of the

neighbors ended up grabbing the snake and at that point I just woke up.

In my second dream a zoo was relocating many of its animals to a preserve, and my mom and I were helping. We had two red macaws, a male and a female. We put the female up on the grassy bush lined ledge, which formed a natural edge of the preserve. We set the female macaw up on the ledge and she just sat there. So I pulled out some of the grassy bush to show her an opening, and she still just sat there. My mom told me to go take her into the preserve, so I climbed out of the car and onto the ledge. When I got up there, the macaw came over to me like "Human! biggrin " and followed me farther into the preserve. After a while she started flying, realizing that she was free, and I soon saw the male flying after her. I looked over the preserve and saw a spring flood of crystal clean water over some of the land, flowing down a somewhat steep slope. Even though the water was flowing over plenty of dirt, it stayed perfectly clear. I saw lots of trees, and soon other animals and some of the zoo trainers, and in the background I saw a river. The whole site was rather beautiful and serene. And then I woke up.
