When love is lost and life undone
And all that's left are broken bones
How then does fare the will to live
Against this world's lack to give?
If one should lose to such a fate
And thus be doomed to drown in pain
Without the will to e'er escape
How might he break free of his chains?
For if his love should ne'er return
Then in his sorrow he will burn
While all the pain within him churns
And only in his dreams he'll find
Should his happiness e'er return
