A Desert in the Sky
Crystalline sands enshroud the blues,
Ranging from ice to navy hues.
Silver-grey tracks of serpents long gone,
Trace these plains and yet upon
This desert of white, this Dreamer’s gaze
Is induced to linger in appraise.
Dark-brown eyes glow gold with the daystar
Light as they admire afar.
Such int’rest as this indeed provoked
This Dreamer so much, that she evoked
Her wonder in this marvel and had hoped
To share with others with what she wrote.
