The DeVars Chronicles
This is something that would mess up my schedule or turn things another way around - keep me busy for a while.
Chronicles of The Lost Thought: Introduction
(My first post to a switch perspective - I find it very amusing to transcribe a very normal thing to something out of the ordinary - enjoy.)

As DeVars wandered in the depths and quietness of the night, spinning the lost pencil in front of his masterful PC, his eyes slowly drift down, down, close. His vision slowly becoming blurry - the madness slowly forming back to shape. His elbow, which he used as support to his head, fell out of place and his head moved swiftly - hitting the wooden desk - almost... his awareness caught up and tensed his neck muscles to give a last save to the falling head.

He then heard a soft childish voice, female. "Know me?"

'Know me?', she said... and echoed to his head the two words danced on his train of thought. "Yes... I ... know - somewhat." I looked from side to side to see where it was coming from - and was deeply surprised at an innocent face to my left, anxiously waiting the time for me to look at her. And then she gave a hearty smile.

"That's good.", she nodded, still smiling. "Missed me?"

It was a naive voice, and the question was rather too simple to be answered by a 'yes' or a 'no'. But from the way I heard it, there was another question itself, a question within a question... 'Missed me?' was only a cover up - a simple cover to a great complex thing hiding under the pretty pink paper.

"What do you mean?", I asked the girl, to inch off a time thinking a good word for her, or even catch it from her mouth in the process, "Missed is a rather too ambiguous word for me right now."

And then she vanished - only to appear to my other side saying, "Now - have you missed me on your left?"

"No.", I answered simply.

"Why?", was her simple reply to my minimalistic answer.

"That's because you are still there. How could I miss someone I know who is still there?", I followed in - with the words carefully thought out, being simple enough for her to understand.

...And then she vanished, like a bursted bubble - and not returned - except her childish voice, "That's good.", a child's chuckle followed, "I am just here. I'll make you not miss me... even without the faculty of your sight... I'll make you see my presence about."

I quickly snapped out of the weird dream and found my head enjoying the hard wooden desktop. I looked from side to side, looking for a small girl's voice, looking for the girl, nothing. It was just a wicked dream. "Heh. A dream."

"I told you I'll make you not miss me. We haven't finished talking yet.", echoed a small girl's voice from my head... followed by a childish chuckle, "but we'll finish this some other time... deVars-kun."

^ ^ ... yes it is. It is very familiar... but I cut it short - the message I like to bring out for yesterday has been there - though somewhat vague.

I'll make more, don't worry - there's a thing to learn in every conversation with my 'lost thought'. lol. wink

3nodding ... sure you can't *smiles teasingly* I'll try to make next posts like this so it will be like a continuing story. Now - what lesson did deVars-kun learned today? > < *thinks of a good turning point to sew a story around*
