Lately I've decided to take a side quest of obtaining all the monthly collectible items from 2004 to present. I decided I wanted to start collecting MC's late in August. I do plan on buying the cheapest MC's first and then work my way up. Whenever I get a cheap or mispriced MC that I don't have, it will be added to my collection.
I do expect this will take me a while seeing how the cash shop brings out new pretties ever week or two, not to mention we get new rig items every month. I really don't expect much trouble with 2005 to presents items, but I do expect I'll have more trouble with the '04 items.
Whether I decide to start questing some of the '03 items after I have completed this collection is still up in the air. With inflation the way it is I personally don't think '03 items are worth it, not to mention I got the one I wanted the most before the worst of the inflation hit.
