It seems as if I can't find good art anywhere on this site anymore. All I see is crappy stuff that's way over priced yet people actually pay for that. Pieces that use to cost 500g - 2k are now being sold for 30k - 100k. I'm on an art search, and I have no idea where all the good artists went. I refuse to pay 100k for crap.
I recently stumbled across someone who edits Pokemon Trainer sprites to make them look like your avi. I ordered one for 25k, which I thought was a bit too much but it seems like that's the normal price for something like that, so I gave it a shot. I've been waiting for over four days on my sprite, and this morning I went to check the shop and it has been removed. I'm guessing the site she got the sprites from didn't grant permission to edit them, although she said the website stated so, I guess not.
I don't know if I'm still going to get my sprite. If she's even been working on it the past four days I've been waiting. I'm afraid to cancel the trade in case she did work on it.
It seems like every time I do find something I'm willing to pay for the shop has just closed or something goes wrong ... like this. That's just like my luck.
