"i know why you are here Axl, you wish to defeat me, and in doing so taking all the power of the demon of black ice....and its true....the amount of power you could obtain in your body and soul by killing me off would be enormous.....but, you cant defeat me Axl, you are way to-"
Axl cut him off with a strong swing to his face. Which the demon quickly dodged and landed a kick squared to Axl's stomach.
"Shut up already, i didn't come here to hear you TALK!" Axl quickly charged the demon, their swords connecting and sending sparks flying through the air with their lightning fast swings. Each one of them swung with all they had but each time the other one blocked and countered the blow.
The demon spun and tried to trip Axl with a kick, but Axl shoved his sword in the ground, blocking the kick. Axl then jumped up and spun on his sword delivering two swift kicks to the Demons chest and face.
The Demon jumped backwards and wiped the blood from his lips," Oh....so you do have a little bite in you, good....this would be boring IF YOU DIDN'T," the Demon charged at Axl slicing through the air, sending blue blades of energy in Axl's Direction.
Axl quickly tried to get out of the way but the demon was already on the side Axl was dodging to.
"too slow body bag," with that the demon unleashed a blade of energy into Axl's chest.
Axl shot across the vast emptiness of their battlefield the energy burning away his shirt, and searing his skin.
"GAAAAH!" Axl slid his hand over the energy and pulled it away from himself, sending it flying off into the distance.
Axl stood panting for a while, trying to get over the searing pain across his chest. He looked up hoping to catch a glimpse of his foe in the distance, instead he got a full bodied view of him only inches away.
"C'mon body bag, you think the enemy is ever going to just let you catch your breath, pathetic." The demon slammed Axl to the ground and put a foot on his chest. He began to push hard on his chest shoving him slowly into the ground and causing the ground to crack and break apart.
"C'mon boy, isn't there a little more fight in you left....if you don't beat me....she will be forced upon by that emperor..."
Axl quickly grabbed his foot," As....as if i would let that HAPPEN!"
Axl threw the demon away from him, quickly standing up, and shot across the air at him, sword at the ready.
" I WILL NEVER LET HER DOWN," Axl slashed at the demon and their blades connected with such force, that the air began to crackle with energy and the ground around them shattered as if it was hit itself.
"of course you won't." the demon said sarcastically," just like you didn't let her get taken by him in the first place."
"I....i....," Axl looked down, his face full of sadness and despair.
"DON'T GIVE ME THAT LOOK," yelled the Demon," Listen to me boy, If you wan't to save her, you HAVE to save her. If you need to kill to protect her. You WILL kill everyone to protect her....If you have to die to keep her alive....THEN YOU WILL FIGHT TO THE LAST BREATH FOR HER! QUIT LIEING TO YOURSELF FOR THE REASON FOR PROTECTING HER! JUST ADMIT IT!"
Axl's eyes widened, " Lieing....to protect her.....admit it, admit....it."
The demon began pushing Axl back," YOU CAN'T WIN LIKE THAT BOY! FINDING AN EXCUSE TO FIGHT, THAT ISN'T WHY YOU ARE FIGHTING!WHY DO YOU WANT TO PROTECT HER!!!"
Axl looked down once more," I want to keep her safe....because...because...,"Axl's grip on his sword tightened and it and his body began to surge with immense demonic energy. Axl looked up toward the demon, his eyes glowing brightly," BECAUSE I LOVE GEKKOU!!!" He began pushing the demon back," BECAUSE I LOVE HER SMILE, HER HAPPINESS, HER VOICE, I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT HER."
The demon smirked, " then see me as him, the demon in between you and her, the one that will tear the woman you love AWAY!"
A black and blue aura began to swirl around Axl's sword," THEN I WILL REMOVE YOU FROM US!!!"
With that said, Axl's sword finished its slice. Going through the demons sword and unleashing a blade of black and blue energy into the demons body, sending him flying across the torn battlefield.
After a few moments, Axl walked up to the demons broken and bloody body. it lay there a large gash spanning from his right shoulder to his left thigh.
"You finally did it," said the demon coughing up blood," you managed to beat both me....and yourself........good job.....body.........bag." with that the demon broke into sand and blew away.
Axl stood ther for a few moments, then kneeled down," yeah...i did.....thank you ....Demon of the black ice......my brother."
