Where endless darkness hides the sky

We called upon our own demise!

Now our God is out of patience!

We take our last breaths before demise!

This time it's really over

All that's left is ashes
The ashes of our kind

We ignored all (of) nature's warning
We belittled our God
We believed that we were better
We believed we'd beat the odds

See our world now in ruins
hear our deafened screams
Our kind is dead and buried
Buried underneath our sins
