Dive Roll Call. Are you Present?

Pass this on the women you know (daughters. sisters, friends, etc). Some of them ' really' need to know this. Most of all stay in tune with God, my Diva Sisters. Not everyone can pull it off being a Diva.

1) DO NOT EVER FIGHT OVER A MAN!

I can not stress this enough. Real Divas never participate in 'Cat Fights". It is demeaning to all women. Now if a chick gets in your face talking BS, then you have to correct her, but do not start a fight over some p***k! It is not worth it, HE is not worth it.

2) NEVER DEPEND ON A MAN FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

This is very important and crucial. Real Divas are self sufficient. That means rent (mortgage), food, clothes, hair, nails, etc. If he wants to buy it for you fine. Just make sure it is not because you can't do it for yourself. You see when we depend on a man it is harder to get rid of him. That is why so many of us remain in harmful relationships.

3) MAKE YOUR DREAM YOUR CAREER.

This is the only way to be happy. We have to work to survive, but also strive to make whatever your 'gift' is support you financially.

4) KEEP DESTRUCTIVE PEOPLE OUT OF YOUR LIFE

This is becoming a cliche, but it is very real. People who bring down and are too critical get them away from you. They only hinder your growth. This, of course includes men who are harmful to us whether physically or mentally, but also our female friends who are jealous of us. If you are a true diva jealousy will arise, but don't play into it because that's their problem. Don't make it your own.

5) DEAL IN REALITY NOT ILLUSIONS.

Prince Charming is not going to save you nor is that great man in your life even close to him. He is a human being of flesh and blood. Many women deal in dreams and fantasy when it comes to relationships that is why we get so hurt when a man doesn't live to our expectations. Think REALISTICALLY about your mate and other people in your life. That is the only was to stay in control and a Real Diva is always in control!


RULES OF APPEARANCE

1) KEEP YOUR BODY FIT!

A part of being a Real Diva is looking good. I'm not going to give measurements, but you know when you are in shape and when you are not. Just strive to look your best because if you look great you feel great. Besides, exercise relieves alot of tension that can be built up in daily life.

2) STAY TUNED WITH FASHION.

There is a difference between fashion and fads. Wear classic clothes that are quality. Keep a few evening gowns on hand just in case. Accessories are a must, remember you're a Diva!

3) KEEP YOUR HAIR TIGHT

No matter how you choose to wear your hair, short. long, or whatever make sure it looks good and fits YOUR personality. Don't keep changing your hair to suit the current style, remember Divas don't do fads. Just keep it neat and elegant. And please don't leave the house in rollers-no class!

4)STAY SEXY AND FEMININE.

Divas are sexually independent women. maintain your sexuality but know the difference between trashy! Divas do not ever look like sluts or prostitutes. What makes a Diva a Diva is CLASS!

5) EXUDE CONFIDENCE AND ASSERTIVENESS.

Know who you are and remember it. Be assertive in life and go after what you want. When you do this it will show in your face and in the way you move. Real Divas are ever arrogant or flamboyant. There is no need to be. When you are confidant in who you are there will be no reason to broadcast it, it will show believe me.
