Chronicles of The Lost Thought: Speak
The evening glazed it's frigid hands on me, and I shiver the thought of what happened just moments ago. Sigh. Another one. And I think this will not end for after a long while. Evening's breeze just pumps it up more. The feeling of the night - and the cold. They're inching in and increasing their temptations on me - everyday. "Come - return to us... return to your old ways - the one that you have grown so accustomed of... Sleep out in the blanket of stars and kiss out nature's bosom... Don't deny what you truly are~"
I nodded slowly and stepped on a foot to the despairing dusty paths. They smile and glee for my step - each one of my step they call again... and again... giving me the encouragement that I so verily need.
But then she came, and her bell sounded in my thoughts that forcefully woken me up to that coming home dream. What was it like that you were woken up suddenly when you are in the middle of the plot...
"Hey - why're you gazing at nothingness?", she asked... and turned around and moved about. She even blocked her head to the monitor which I was staring for so long. The whiteness of paper suddenly faced eclipse as she shoved in her head to get my attention.
But I was not there. The call was so strong tonight - and weakness had already crept on me this short days - I had just never thought that it had gotten so. Her words echo in my ear - but my thoughts were clearer and would, by a little finger, block hers. The night fleeted quickly. This day was faster than the others.
Seeing I gave no such replies even to her cheeriest behaviour, she slid back and from there, reach all the way to my front, giving me a tight embrace. She knew what was best - and her notions were right in every detail. The hug had worked and pulled me back to reality... or in cases... to her dream.
While I - in the moment of crossing out again in to the wide plains... got stuck - and froze - and paralyzed. My home had called - and wishes me back... and although it came in quite late, and I was already in the mouth of wilderness, I decided to turn back. I'm not a wanderer.
There I realize she was there - on my back - pulling softly, and hugging, her face siding mine and in minute intervals giving me a kiss to the cheek. Feeling that I came to and somehow moved the moment her lips landed on my cheek, she smiled and hugged me tighter, with a welcome I'd soon not forget.
"Missed. You."
