For a while now I’ve been wondering where to start with the twins and their background stories.
The initial idea was to begin when they were either toddlers, or before they were born, and go in chronological order. That was my first instinct, but after a bit more thinking I found I did not like it as much as I thought I would.
After more consideration, I decided to do a series of one-shots in no particular order. Various thought out moments from their childhood depending on what I age I feel like writing them at in the given moment. Still, I had no idea which point to start at. Now, I do.
A friend of mine today, her actions helped me in making my decision: one of the reasons behind Yohachirou’s unwillingness to be affectionate. This is something I have long since decided would go hand-in-hand in Yume’s...over affectionate behavior. Yes, it is something that started with her brother. She always was affectionate, but it went into overdrive because of Yoh. ...one of many things I'm sure know he is not always happy with me for. sweatdrop
I love my twins dearly. They aren’t always well behaved, or mature...and they, especially Yume, cause a good deal of trouble. Both of them are ‘problem children’. sweatdrop To say that they have much 'growing up' to do is an understatement, but they are blossoming.
Yohachirou and Yume are very precious to me and always will be. That said, when I see that someone else loves them I am indescribably happy and grateful.
To those of you who care about them, I hope you will continue to do so and…I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The one-shot itself likely won’t be up until sometime during spring break. I’ve got my fair share of work to finish after all. [.sighs.] Well, it is more time to think things over.
I also need to work on Yohachirou and Yume's profiles. -.- [.Adds to her long list of things that need to be done.]
....there's the list of all my characters to make too. There are so many now that even I'm having trouble keeping track of them....
