What is happening in Japan is a true tragedy...
It is true that this could have happened anywhere is drastic consequences - but you have to remember... No where else in the world - is the population denser than in Japan. 142 million people live in the surrounding areas of Tokyo... This is a disaster of a cataclysmic nature that will be far reaching and as engraining as the tragedy of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on the Japanese culture and identity. Let us not forget.
In America we say: "Remember the Alamo!"
In Japan we'll say: "Remember the Tsunami!"
Let this be a time of rebuilding and renewal. Let Japan be the shining jewel it once was, an example of the civilized world forever more.
