Chapter 1: Cry Havoc!
My name is Sgt. William Austin Wilkes, U.S. Marine. Year 2563. The Earth is now engulfed by War and hatred. It all started around 80 years ago, the world’s petroleum had ran dry, the only country that had even the slightest bit of the precious black gold was Russia, which had no interest in sharing. Without fuel there was no power, no water, no transportation, the United States was suffering it’s biggest crisis yet, having relied so much on the limited quantities of petroleum. Russia readied his troops, he knew that other countries would want to take the precious liquid for themselves, and he wanted to be prepared for the worst. Tensions rose. The first to attack was China, followed by Germany. Greed drove them to begin a war that would change history altogether. Right after Germany, the United States joined the conflict, quickly overtaking Russia and conquering it, things only got worse. The remainder of Asia, Europe, India and Africa joined the war.
