Hello, DC. Been awhile, eh?
as i write this, i'm sitting in some uber-expensive high-end hotel a block away from the White House, just chillin' and getting ready for the day.

flight was uneventful; first time at night, so that was pretty cool ^^
crapton of homework, despite only having like 4 or 5 classes haha.
spanish gotta read a bunch of stuff (did some at the airport already... sounds interesting), brit lit a bunch of different things (w/ a lot of reading), planning to do that sometime either today or tomorrow on the compy (because i refused to bring theeee hugenormous book for that class here haha), trig pretty much all of the next chapter (which reminds me, i should go check and see if the newest test score is up...), and comp lit it's just some sketch up stuff, so i might download it here and have some fun or something. *shrugs*
time will go fast this week.
WHY CAN'T I FIND MY CAMERA CHARGER?! stare fer serious, this SUCKS. gonk mentally wracking my mind for where it could be; i have no idea. so:
minimal pictures while i'm here. (i've already taken more than my fair share of everything except for BPA-specific stuff)
and just pray that I find it thursday afternoon before prom.
because my camera died at prom last year, too. :/

also have a bunch of other things to work on while i'm here.
gonna apply for that internship at the paper~ heart you have no idea how bad i want to do that.........
4-H the day after prom. gotta make an agenda and prepare for the demonstration.
and some dordt stuffs, eventually.......................

housekeeping is a stress factor. mom wants it done; i just don't care. wanna stay in the hotel all day haha.
yes, call me crazy, call me a spoil-sport. basically all i wanna see while i'm here is the International Spy Museum and breeze through the smithsonians again.
...... hah. you could spend a month "breezing through the smithsonians."
but i've already seen a few, and so now i'll just plan to hit the ones i didn't see the last time.
already been through the natural world one and the indian one more than i please, and while i want to go to the american history one, i've seen that one, too. when i was there, they had a bunch of inaugural First Lady gowns on display. ^^
*shrug*
fancy dinner tonight at 5.
tomorrow i'll cruise around where i wish, tuesday move to the new hotel and then go on a tour w/ mom to see the rest of the monuments (for her sake lawl), wednesday my contest in the morning, then going to the exhibit hall thing, then opening session on the National Mall, then thursday morning we fly out (leaving the hotel at 4AM... o.o), back home by noon
where i'll leave right away again to go to the chiro, get a spray-on, buy a bunch of stuff, and fix my dress and stuff.
lost the button for the back panel of my dress, but whatevs.
broke the fascinator's headband when i was trying to move the flower thing over, planning to just superglue it to a barette then.
finish the handbag thing I started yesterday. don't quite know how i want the handles to be yet.......
hah. this turned out to be a very long entry. best change into some real clothes, i suppose....
