The were giving out free samples of some European warm cereal, so I took it home to experiment. It's moments like this I am reminded of how different I am from normal people, as I'm pretty sure it couldn't possibly smell like crushed beetles to everyone else. That's how my nose parsed it, and as the stink filled about a third of the house, I ended up making sauerkraut and sweet biscuits to drown it out.
