Been a while since I did a review of... well, anything I watched. Just finished watching Jyu-Oh-Sei - Planet of the Beast King.
This anime wasn't too bad. 11 episodes long. Well drawn, violent, and good story. It's about a young boy named Thor and his twin brother Rai. They live in a space colony named Juno, with their parents. Their parents are scientists. The father being good friends with the guy who runs the colony.
So... one day Thor and Rai go back home after class. They find the power has been cut to their home... and parents killed. Next thing they know, a sleep bomb goes off and then they awaken on an unknown world with killer plants and criminals that have made societies.
Anyway, without giving too much away, I recommend this anime. It's a science fiction (obviously) with blood, violence, a bit of romance, betrayal, mystery.... all crammed into 11 episodes. Perfect for those who hate long series.
