well, this is not exactly new news, but since this is my gaia worklog, i am deciding to put it in.
soooo, i bought a gaia vending pass!! yay! now i have my very own store! and i can monitor my watch list! ever since i got the vending pass, i have been adding stuff to my watch list like crazy. i know, i'm weird like that.
but anyway, more good news: i got a 100% on my math test today! and also i got a 98% on my science fair project in (duh) science, with a partner, one of my friends.
my sister is sick -- she had a nasty cold and fever and got to miss school today.
oh yeah, today was the first day of the fourth marking period! i have art now as my related arts class (too complicated to explain). Ms. Wolfe seems nice enough but she seems kind of weird... whatever. art has been and will be always fun!
for homework i had to write a shakespeare sonnet. it's kind of hard and has a lot of rules and stuff like that, but nothing a regular poet can't handle! but for some reason these couple of months, i've been brain dead. somebody (or something) help me!
yikes, report cards for the third marking period comes out this friday! i think i already mentioned this, but repeating this kind of helps to sooth my nerves down a little. see, in my family, if you don't get straight a's, you are automatically grounded. chinese families are like that -- very strict about your academics and education and, of course, grades. the day you get your report card is like judgement day. very important day. and let me tell ya, with this kind of expectance, you start to break down whenever you get a rare B on a quiz, hw, or test, and then you feel like you want to cry when you get a Cor lower, which is even rarer for me. you get quite accostomed to getting all a's on everything all the time in all of your subjects. although i have never been good in p.e.gosh, i hope i did well in p.e. although i really don't think i did. they say that it is the effort that counts. yeah right. like they can grade on something like that (unless it's really obvious).
well that's it for today. now that i reread it, it's pretty random. oh well!
