Sera's Public Journal
If you don't like it, don't comment on it. I might vent or rant. I'm not immune to certain stresses, and this doesn't really help. You CAN NOT and WILL NOT hold me responsible if you're a subject of this journal. Cmon, it's not like anyone will know.
Jibbets. (Day 8.)
Ah, tomorrow we have to pack to get ready to go home... Our flight leaves at 8 Hawaiian time and 11 California time. If we don't have delays, we are expected to get home around 5 AM Friday, California time, if there are no delays..

Today I woke up, feeling bit better. Mabye it's best I avoid the issue til I get home. Mom and Dad were out snorkeling, and it was well past 10. I sat in the condo, ate breakfast and watched shitty appliance and medical fraud commercials on channel 8.

My parents eventually came back and we went to Whaler's Village in Kahului. (Japan, please stop whaling! You don't need it!) I got a shirt from Crazy Shirt that was dyed in CHOCOLATE. (They have stuff dyed in coffee, volcanic ash, chocolate, hemp, chili peppers, ocean water, and MONEY. Yes, that's right, made out of discarded US currency. There were other things too, but I can't remember.) They only had like two shirts dyed in chocolate, though... It was sad. But I'm going to wear it on the way home because it's comforting. I also got a little Kilban cat jibbet for my crocs that my Mom bought for me along with the shirt, starting a new interest for me. I wasn't interested in them before, but now I really like them.

There, they also had a whole shop dedicated to Crocs and Crocs products. I ended up buying 4 more little jibbets. I put a blue cupcake and a mint chip (I love mint and I love ice cream, but not together.) on my Left foot (I gotta put my best foot forward.) and I put Donald Duck and a penguin on my right. The penguin was on sale for 99 cents, but the others were lie $2.45 each. There were so many others I liked, but I was already breaking my promise to not spend any more. I get ten bucks on Friday, but I need to make a promise to NOT spend any more. I only have 41 dollars and some odd cents left, and two of those are dollar coins that I WON'T spend on any cost. I need to hold out, so I can get those hairsticks on Etsy that I saw and liked.

Before we ate, we walked up and down the path that used to be a popular race track for hawaiian royalty that was right next to the beach. Here, I saw my first jellyfish and Portuguese Man o' War warnings. Today, tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow are warning days, because the full moon was on the 15th and jellyfish comes out to play 7-10 days after on the NORTH part of the island. We were safe. I've never seen Portuguese Man o' War in real life up close, but they scare me and I HAVE had nightmares of them. (If they were plural, wouldn't it be MEN o' war? Also, did you know? They're not jellyfish. They're siphonophores.) We went to dinner at Leilani's, where for dessert I had a 7 layer chocolate cake that I just couldn't finish. We brought it back and stored it in the fridge in the condo, but not before we got to watch some traditional Tahitian and Hawaiian dancers.

I'm still a bit nervous about the flight back. But I miss home.

Hopefully my last day in paradise goes well. I want to remember it.
