Chapter 1: Abduction
It was a beautiful spring morning in Karakura Town. The sun was out, birds were chirping and kids of all ages were up, getting ready for school. Ichigo was still asleep though in his bed, he like sleeping in an extra 5-10 minutes. That wouldn't last too long though as Isshin came through Ichigo's bedroom window, trying to surprise attack his own son. The teen with his quick reflexes leaped from his bed, leaving his father to stumble over the bed, face implanting with the wooden floor. His father quickly stood up, dusting himself off.
"Good morning my son!" The father shouted proudly as looked over at annoyed looking Ichigo.
"Idiot!" The orange hair boy shouted, sounding rather pissed. "Stop doing that already!" It was like a daily routine for the father to surprise attack his son. Ichigo usually ending up dodging it and Isshin getting hurt. And after that the teen would end up scolding his own father for that.
"I came to wake you up for school of course." The old man patted the teen's shoulder. "Also, breakfast is ready."
"Yeah, yeah.." Ichigo said as he opened his closet door, taking out his school uniform. "Leave already so I get ready for school."
Isshin was about to leave Ichigo's but paused and turned around to face his son. "Also, Ichigo, are you going to join your sisters and I to watch for UFO's tonight?"
The orange hair teen looked over his shoulder and gave his old man a flat look before shaking his head in response. "I already said I don't believe in aliens, so the answer is obvious. Now get out so I change."
Isshin frowned slightly then smirked playfully before charging at his son. He grabbed the boy's shoulders and began to shake him a bit roughly. This only aggitated the teen more. "What will it take for you to believe in aliens, son?!" The old man pleaded as he shook his son more.
"GET THE HELL OUT OF MY ROOM AND STOP WITH THAT ANNOYING s**t!" Ichigo shouted as he kicked his father away, sending him flying through the door and then down the stairs with a loud thud.
Yuzu and Karin approached their father quietly. Yuzu looking worried as usual while Karin gave their father a disapproving look, shaking her head. Isshin was lying on the ground with a large bump on the head and foot imprint on his face. The old man got up slowly, showing that he okay and dusted himself off again. There was silence for a moment. He then slowly walked over to the giant potrait of his wife in the family room.
"Oh, Masaki!" He sobbed, clinging to the picture. "What should I do about our adolescent son?!"
Karin and Yuzu followed their father into the family room. Karin raised a brow slightly with an annoyed expression. "You really ought to stop harassing Ichi-nii in the early morning.." She said dully, crossing her arms over her chest.
Isshin stopped sobbing and turned around to face his two daughters. "Yuzu, Karin, you'll join papa tonight, right? As we look for UFO's with his new telescope!"
Karin shook her head no in response. "I have soccer practice tomorrow."
Yuzu just smiled with a small nod. "Okay, sounds like fun. I'll even make popcorn."
After breakfast was done, Karin and Yuzu headed off to their school together. Isshin went to his labratory to do some research. And as for Ichigo, he strolled off to school with Keigo and Mizuiro tagging along. The whole walk to school, Keigo was talking about going UFO sighting in a big open field. Mizuiro was playing with his phone as usual and Ichigo was spacing off as he continued to walk.
Keigo latched onto the orange hair boy's arm, snapping him out of his daydreaming. "Ichi~go! Did you hear me?" He whined as he clung tighter. That only irritated the other teen more. "You should totally come with me and a few friends to do UFO sighting! It'll be fun!"
The orange hair teen shook off his annoying yet clinging friend from his arm, harshly. "No thanks. I'm not into that stuff nor do I believe in it.."
Mizuiro watched quietly and Keigo's face had a shocked expression. His expression then switched to gloomy quickly. "I-Ichigo, you're so cruel..!" He then ran off ahead, leaving the other two behind, sobbing.
"Is he going to be okay..?" He asked as he looked over to Mizuiro. A thin orange brow raised slightly in question.
The smaller teen waved his hand dismissively, smiling. "He's always like that, remember? But yes, he'll be fine." Mizuiro slipped his phone back into his school bag then looked up at Ichigo. "Are you sure you don't want to come along, Ichigo? It'll be fun."
The orange hair teen gave a small nod, his hands slipped into his school pants' pockets. "Yeah, I'm sure. You and Keigo go have fun though."
Soon the hours flew by in school, first and second period seem to fly by quick. It was now lunch period. Chad, Inoue, Tatsuki, Chizuru, Keigo, and Mizuiro all sat at the usual spot outside by the big oak tree. Ichigo joined in the group casually, carrying his lunch. He sat in his usual spot which was right beside Chad.
Inoue flashed a big smile up at Ichigo and sat across from him. Her lunch today was a giant loaf of bread with sweet bean paste. the girl surely had odd taste in food. "Kurosaki-kun, are you going to come with us to do UFO sighting?"
He shook his head with a small smile. "I'm sorry, Inoue. I already told Keigo I wasn't going to go. Besides. I don't believe in that sort of thing."
Everyone except for Mizuiro and Chad gave Ichigo a skeptical look. Inoue just sat there quietly, going back to eating her unusual lunch. Mizuiro played with his phone quietly and took a sip from his water bottle. Chad kept quiet as he ate his sandwich.
Tatsuki sat beside Inoue, raising a brow in question. "And this coming from someone who believes in ghost..?" She questioned him, crossing her arms over her chest, giving him a deadpan expression.
"You're one to talk. You don't believe in that sort of s**t either!" Ichigo protested to her, scowling deeply at.
"I'm only going to the UFO sighting to make sure Inoue is safe.." That was Tatsuki's only excuse and or reason why. Though it was true, she did not really believe in aliens or UFO's either.
Soon more time flied by and lunch period was over and so was the third period. Time seemed to slow down when fourth period rolled by. It was science, a very boring and dull subject according to Ichigo. He much rather be home taking a nap or reading a book under a shady tree. He had his book open but his attention was somewhere else. The orange hair teen was looking out the window with half lidded eyes. His elbow was propped onto his desk, his cheek leaning into his hand.
The longer the lecture went on, the more the teen began to daydream. Soon Ichigo was finding himself drifting off to sleep. His eyes closed, still facing the window. While the teacher went on about there being a possibility of other life forms out in deep space, the orang hair teen found himself dreaming about such oddities. Soon the school bell wrung, ending yet another school day. Thankfully however, it was Friday. He couldn't wait to relax during the weekend.
Ichigo woke up after the bell wrong and shoved his book into his school bag. He slung it over his shoulder and casually left the classroom. The orange hair teen made his way to his locker to put his school books away. Everyone else had already done so and was now just exiting the school building. Ichigo was the last one to exit out of the school. Everyone began heading home, some of them had big plans for the week. Some were planning to watch the meteor shower tomorrow. Others talked about going UFO watching. Apparently, everyone was making a big deal out of it. It simply annoyed Ichigo but he shrugged if off none-the-less.
As soon as Ichigo got home, he immediately tossed his school bag carelessly to the floor. He kicked off his sneakers and flopped onto his bed. His arms wrapped around his pillow as he sighed softly into it. Meanwhile, Yuzu and Isshin were gathering a few things from his labratory and setting them up on the roof. Karin was doing her homework in her room quietly for the rest of the night. She honestly thought it was embarrassing for her father to be so caught up on aliens and UFO's, working as a scientist or whatever it is that he was.
Ichigo sat up on his bed, looking out into the evening sky through his window. The window was opened half way, letting in the cool summer air. The cool wind felt wonderful against the teen's warm skin and orange hair. The sky was colored in such beautiful colors too, there was oranges, pinks, and purples with a tint of dark blue and faded yellow all meshed together. The longer he stared out his window, the more the colors began to fade out. Soon the stars began to come out. One by one, each one shining brightly into the night sky.
Ichigo found himself slowly drifting off to sleep, he laid back in his bed with arms behind his head. The teen stretched out his legs on his bed, his brown eyes slowly closing shut. The curtains that hung over the window moved along with the cool wind that was blowing in. It was a very quiet and peaceful night. There was a quick flash of light and then it suddenly disappeared. After that for some strange reason, Karakura Town's lights went out.
On the roof, Isshin was having one of his usual sobbing fits. Yuzu did her best to comfort him. He was sobbing about how he'll miss the chance to see the sight of a real UFO if one comes. And Yuzu kept comforting the man, assuring him the black out was only temporarily. Karin groaned as the lights went out. She would have to finish her homework tomorrow after soccer practice. She climbed into bed and went off to sleep.
A very unhumanly tall man slipped skillfully through Ichigo's window. The man was careful not to wake the sleeping teen who was soon to be his latest victim. He slowly and carefully approached the orange hair boy's bed. The man smirked in amusement watching his victim sleeping so peacefully and completely unaware of what is going to happen. The boy's sleeping face was adorable in the man's opinion. He looked so innocent and a bit naive. The man wasted no more and quickly hoisted the teen up, lifting him over his shoulder. With almost cat-like reflexes, he leaped out of the window quickly.
This man's speed was unbelievably fast and swift, he ran with such ease while carrying the orange hair boy in one arm. He stopped for a second feeling the boy stir a bit in his sleep. When the orange hair teen didn't wake up, he continued on his way back to his ship. His ship was just another few feet away. He could just see it from where he was at, the chrome shell with pale blue flashing lights.
He grinned a cat-like grin as he finally approached his ship. "Heh. Peace of cake." He lightly snorted as he stepped into his ship.
Once inside the door close behind him, he swiftly walked to a large room, still carrying the boy in one arm. He approached a rather long and rectangular table, setting the orange hair teen onto it. He quickly slapped on shackles to Ichigo's wrists and ankles, securing him down tightly. He wondered if the boy would wake up soon, he was getting rather bored. The man sighed with a slight scowl, he then began to leave the room. But just as he was about to, the orange hair youth stir in his sleep again with a groan. When Ichigo realized he couldn't move his arms and legs his eyes snapped wide open.
"Finally ya woke up, brat.." The man turned back around, slowly making his way back to where the boy was.
He pulled at his bindings using all his strength struggling. "Where the ******** am I?! And who the hell are you?!" It was clear that his brown eyes were filled with both fear and anger.
"Name's Grimmjow Jeaggerjaques." He replied, grinning predatorily at the bewilded teen. "And yer in my space ship."
Ichigo gave Grimmjow a deadpan stare, lightly snorting. "Give me a ******** break. This has got to be some sick joke, right?"
Grimmjow just scowled at the boy disapprovingly, raising a brow slightly at him. "Don' see how it's a joke, kid.."
The orange hair teen just paled and the other male didn't even look like he was joking. "Y-Yeah right..! Aliens and UFO's aren't real..!" He weakly protested, still struggling in his shackles.
"That so, brat?" Grimmjow asked him matter-of-factly. He leered down at the boy, his bright blue eyes, now almost completely dark. "Well guess what, yer in for rude awakenin', kid."
