As some of you may know, by my status since Friday, I saw Transformers 3 Saturday.
Personally, I think it was better than Transformers 2. TF3 is loaded with action, Decepticon vs Autobot fights, swears... and... it's awesome. A must see, if you at least enjoyed TF1.
I won't get too much into what happens, but I'll give an overview. Mostly trailer related things...
• Decepticons have something that they got from... some place.
• Humans lied to the Autobots about something.
• An old friend of Optimus returns.
• Sam has a new girl (see news articles about Megan Fox as to why she wasn't in TF3). This adds to the story and a very comical scene.
I won't get into if or who dies, as far as which side... being a war, it should be obvious that someone is going to die.
And... that is all I can say about it. I'd gladly talk more about it via PMs, if anyone is interested.
Warning: This movie contains swearing. I mean, lots of swearing. It also contains CGI combat, Sam with a pipe, a girl in her panties (and shirt), betrayal, space, missiles... awesomeness.
Also...
A Transformers 4 movie MIGHT be coming. It all depends on TF3's profits. However, Michael Bay and Shia LaBeouf (Sam) may likely not return. Without Sam, I think it would be hard to do a 4th, but we'll see. I believe Steven Spielberg has said he would direct TF4, if Michael Bay declines.
