Bio for Mr. Monster Guy
Name: Mr. Monster Guy
Race: Werewolf Hedgehog or "Werehog"
Occupation: Wanderer, Adventurer (The heck occupation does he have? I guess he's a vagabond. xD )
Nickname(s): Monster, Cookie Monster, Fuzzy Buddy, Big Blue, Kitty, Monmon, and whatever the heck anyone else makes up for him
Age: 19
Height: 4'1''
Weight: 110 lb
Personality: Despite his appearance, Monster is quite gentle and soft-spoken, even to the point of social awkwardness, but when he does get angry, it's furious and terrible. He also struggles internally with what people see him as, and whether or not he should conform to those assumptions. Monster is also quick to assume loyalty, which sometimes leads to him into getting hurt by those he trusts. Despite all the changes to him, both physical and mental, he still retains much of the arrogance and competitiveness of his previous persona.
Habits: Gets flustered around bare feet (In Mobian culture, bare hands and feet are private, but he's gotten used to seeing glove-less humans. Barefoot... not so much.)
Hobbies: Running (Gotta go fast), Camping (he's a woodsman at heart), Studying the history of werewolves (When in Rome, right?)
Likes: Chili Dogs and all food in general, The Moon (and the night sky in general... with the exception of FULL moons), Open Spaces, Nature (especially wooded areas), Camping, Halloween, Children (he has a soft spot for them, and in their innocence they sometimes don't fear him), Adventures
Dislikes: The Sun and day time (his nocturnal eyes are sensitive to bright sunlight), Clothing (though he will wear a little to formal gatherings), Other Monsters (especially zombies), Large Crowds, Small Enclosed Areas, Water
Strengths
*Physical: Super-human Strength and Endurance, Heightened Senses, Stretching Abilities in his Arms, Instinctively Good at Fighting
*Emotional: Strong sense of Will, Highly Loyal, Good-Natured with a Friendly demeanor towards most people
Weaknesses
*Physical: Lacks Agility, Weak against Silver, Mistletoe, Wolfs bane, and other common werewolf deterrents, Cannot Swim or Cross Running Water, Moon-Shaped Items may also have an adverse effect on him (though the mileage may vary)
*Emotional: His Anger can Grow out of Control, Can be loyal to the point of naivete, May succumb to primal blood lust (see the section on Were-Monster for more detail), Can be highly Competitive and Arrogant at times
Back-story: Monster wasn't always a monster... In fact, he used to be a great hero on his home planet of Mobius. That is, until the power of the Chaos Emeralds transported him to Gaia and changed his physical appearance. Now, far away from his home and friends, he tries to cope with his new life and still be virtuous, despite his monstrous form. But being a monster so long has changed his view on the world, and sometimes he wonders what would happen if he ever returned home...
About the Werehog: In 2008, SEGA released the game Sonic Unleashed for the Wii, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS2, where Sonic the Hedgehog became "cursed" so that every night he would change into the Werehog. The planet on which he lived was also split apart into seven pieces, so with the help of his friends Tails, Amy and Chip, they set off to restore the planet, both by day and night.
There is also an animated short by SEGA's VE Studios called "Night of the Werehog" which is based on Sonic Unleashed, in which Sonic and Chip explore a haunted house, with some interesting and funny twists along the way. The short no longer has its own website, but can be found on Youtube.
Were-Monster
General Info: When the full moon rises, our usually kind and fluffy friend undergoes a drastic mental transformation, along with some slight physical modifications. The extent of the changes are unpredictable; one full moon he could be a mindless beast, yet the next he could be sly and psychotic. In general, he won't have full control over his actions, if any control at all. He might have small moments of sanity, but they quickly dissipate back, and in the morning, everything will have felt like a bad dream to Monster.
Personality: Monster's mental state becomes increasingly unstable in the hours leading up to the full moon's appearance until finally succumbing to the madness, losing conscious control over his body and regressing to a primal, feral state of mind. Losing all inhibitions, he won't show any semblance of fear or regret and won't shy away from using his full strength on his prey, viciously attacking anything that irritates or threatens him. Rarely will he remember friends or give them any recognition, though a small handful of deep rooted memories can get through to him for a short amount of time. On rare occasions, he'll retain his intelligence after the moon has risen, making him all the more dangerous and deranged.
Physical Changes: Since Monster is technically always in his beast form, only a few physical changes take place. The most obvious change is in size, going from being four foot tall to almost seven foot, and gaining all the bulk and mass that goes with it. Physical changes to his brain also occur, causing his insatiable appetite while in this state. During the hours leading up to the change Monster will exhibit headaches, weakness and fevers before dissolving into severe anxiety and mood swings, then finally the transformation itself. Monster will also often exhibit uncontrollable drooling or a thick white foam dripping from his mouth, as well as an inability to speak any human or animal language.
Other Changes: Sometimes, when extremely agitated, Monster's body will glow a neon purple, as if subconsciously tapping into an archaic energy source. Also, certain words will trigger an immediate physical and mental response, depending on how deep a meaning Monster associates with them.
