It's a Journal.
It's on the title. Nothing more.
WARNING: MUSHY FLUFF ALERT

You're probably not interested. So anyone who's anticipating a dramatic and tragic backstory, clear out. I'm going to talk about a guy.

Okay, so I've been in, like, classmate terms with this guy since I was in first year high school. I can't help it, we're both transferrees to a new school. And besides, he's from another country.

Yeah, so last schoolyear everyone was talking about him, saying that he was so critical of the way how we do our things, comparing our lifestyle with his in his motherland. Sure, I got pissed off, so, okay.

But this year I really got attached to him. Not only were the rumors false, but he understood me - with all my addiction to Bleach and all. He's one, too. We would talk about it in Chinese class, and sometimes we'd also share news about the Bleach anime and manga. I would tell him if a new Bleach chapter was out, since I know a website that automatically scans and translates the chapter, and he would tell me what the new episode was about, since I can't watch it because my dad's watching the news.

Details?
1. He's from a foreign country. Let's say he has "slits for eyes", as you might say. Omit Chinese and Japanese from the options.
2. He always speaks in English, mainly because he doesn't know our language that well yet, and we can't understand him in his own tongue. (Hint: his stay with us has caused him to learn a bunch of local swearwords.)
3.He's not exactly the type you'd go for - skinny, blue rectangular glasses, short, and has a haircut resembling a sort-of-shallow soup bowl.
4.Although he's not yet used to speaking English all the time, he debates with us about numerous things every day.
FOR EXAMPLE:
1.(and I quote) "...Did you know there's a 'white hole'? See, there's a big black hole, and there's a small black hole. The small black hole of the big black hole is called a 'white hole'. Oh, and did you know 'white holes' don't exist?" - him debating to us about white holes during recess

2. (I again quote a conversation)
Him: ...No, no! Look, if Toshiro would do Bankai on Yukio, Yukio won't stand a chance, since Yukio's Fullbring is in his Gameboy or whatever, and Toshiro can just break it with water.
Me: Yeah, but Yukio can control the weather when inside his Fullbring -
Him: That's impossible, because Yukio's Fullbring will be destroyed by the time he figures out he needs to control the water level...

And so the argument goes.

A year earlier, I wouldn't even tolerate thinking if we would end up together. Now it just seems kind of awkward, since even my best friend doesn't know. She'll probably laugh at my choices, and make fun of me.

I'm not saying I'm not proud of my crush! I'm proud! But then, others might not accept. The tendency of boys, I hypothesized, was that if an unlikely girl confesses to you, and you don't reciprocate her love, you just want to back away instead of hurting her feelings by telling her point-black that you're not interested. So, I would imagine him distancing away, partly because of the reason above; partly because it was too awkward to be friends; and partly because the others might think you like her back and make fun of you together.

While that MIGHT sound fun, I'm going to hold my outburst in for a little longer. I want to savor our friendship - our friendship built on a Shonen manga - while it lasts.

MESSAGES:
to him: gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. > razz mrgreen
to Tite Kubo: thanks biggrin DD 4laugh
to Toshiro Hitsugaya: Don't be jealous D; It's just a simple crush. Besides, you're my fiance, and nothing will change that ;D :"> heart

Keishia out. PEACE!
