Inspiration turned Fiction
I'm bored and interested in writing, that's all the reason and the description that I need for this...
Part Two
Cianel Femond Vroli gasped for breath as somebody landed on his chest, rudely awakening him from his sleep. His eyes shot open like speeding bullets and he looked at his attacker in anger... and in seconds, that anger had vanished as they landed on his daughter. Fayth, had it already been half a decade since his baby girl was born? He could still remember the details of that day like the back of his hand.

Chuckling, the blunette captured his only child in his arms and brought her in for a hug. He kissed the child on the top of her head. "Pallavi, where is your mother?"

His daughter looked at him in barely restrained happiness as she leaped off the bed. Her hand pointed toward the door as she practically bounced in place from the excitement. Cian already had a feeling as to why she was acting this way.

"Mama's in the kitchen! Uncle Aro and Auntie Ryn are here! And BiBi and BaBa!" Pallavi confirmed his suspicions.

BiBi and BaBa were, in truth, Biron and Basileus de Maria. Aaron and Caryn's twin children. Fayth, the pilot pitied his former comrade. He had his hands full with just raising one kid, he couldn't even begin to imagine the horror of raising two!

Aaron surprised him, though. The former Thief had the patience to rival the most holy of Priests, at least whenever his family was concerned.

Laughing, the blunette threw the covers towards the front of the bed and stood from his comfortable mattress. Cian already missed the peaceful touch of his bed as he lumbered after his daughter.

Pallavi darted from his bedroom and into the main portion of the house, no doubt planning to play with her best friends. And he wasn't disappointed by the scene he stumbled upon as he exited the hallway.

Aaron was sitting at the counter that separated the dining room and the kitchen, sipping on a glass of scotch. Hold on. Scotch?! b*****d took from his private stash! Cianel forced himself to remain calm, telling himself that he didn't want to frighten the children by screaming at the blond.

It was just one glass, right?

Ash was slaving over the stove, slapping together breakfast for the group with the softest of smiles on her face. Great. His wife was happy and not as grumpy this morning.

He sneaked up behind the woman and wrapped his arms around her waist, momentarily surprising her as he kissed her on the cheek. "Morning, honey." Ash lovingly returned the gesture, garnering the attention of their friends.

"Cian! Yer lazy a** finally climbed outta bed, huh?" He would've retorted had the former Thief's wife not slapped her husband in the back of the head. That was the only response he needed. "I told you not to curse around the children, Aaron."

The blond jokingly sulked, pouting at his partner because of the punishment. "Sorry, darlin'."

Cianel laughed uproariously as he moved around the counter and patted the man heavily on his shoulder. Aaron twitched with barely concealed annoyance at the action. He wasn't bothered so much by the pat as much as it was the strength behind it.

His blunette friend liked hurting him for amusement, as it was.

"I'm surprised that you four are this far out, don't you live in the Calm Lands?" Hell, the couple had been living there since before the twins were born. Sure, the de Maria family visited almost every weekend for play dates... but today was Wednesday.

Ash saved either of them from having to answer. "Aaron and Caryn have been thinking about moving into Bevelle. BiBi and BaBa's fifth birthday's coming up soon and they'll have to start attending school."

Haha, that reminded him. Pallavi was starting school next week. Maybe, just maybe, all three of them could be in the same class?

He shook off that thought as Aaron stood from his seat at the bar, heading towards the cabinet for more scotch. Hell no! He was not getting more than that one glass!

Cian leaped over the counter and tackled Aaron into the floor, destroying even the smallest thoughts of drinking more alcohol. "You can't have any more, blondie!"

The blond struggled beneath him, trying to push him off to grab more of the delicious alcohol that was kept stashed from everybody. "To hell I can't!

Yup... just another day in the life of Cianel Femond Vroli and Ash Burrows-Vroli.
