It was a lonesome midsummer's eve (precisely eleven oh forty-twoish...) when the thought struck me. I was watching the coffee maker by the glow of the computer monitor. Drip. Drip. When I noticed something most disturbing--my coffee maker was not wearing underpants! I felt a jolt of horror. After all, the coffee maker is an advanced piece of machinery which brews coffee all by it's self! It was, technically, a robot.
In a dazed way I got up and ran into my living room. There sat the TV. It too, was not wearing underpants. My computer, was sadly also not wearing underpants. Not any type. Not even the leopard skin kind.
So I got a cup of coffee and thought about it a while. And this is what I came up with;
If they wore underpants, then people would complain that they weren't properly dressed, and would make them wear clothes (which would be quite odd). And that would make them angry, and they would would probably have to kill everyone and take over the world! And I don't think they would like to do that, because then they would be stereo-typed as your average out-of-control-insane-take-over-the-world robot, and that would hurt their feelings. Then they would be sad, and commit suicide and die. Then there wouldn't be any robots to do those nasty chores that people don't like doing, like grinding coffee or keeping milk cold.
I mean, if you were a robot, would you like to wear underpants? I know I wouldn't. I would rather wear a hat, because those are much more fashionable, and you don't have to worry about thongs. (Those are scary.) And if the robots saw them, they would explode! Then people would have to grind coffee with their teeth, which is unhygienic, and people would get sick and everyone would die
