feelin' kind of cool and comfortable now...
on Kenzie's bed, looking out at the quiet parking lot bathed in orange light. the temperature is just right, if not like a degree or two cooler than perfect. my freshly shaved legs feel like silk, the lights above my head glow and change colors quietly without hurry. in the next room people are watching Corpse Bride, I can hear the duet.
there is peace.
and hidden inner turmoil.
if i wasn't shy, i'd give him almighty hell for what he's put me through.
but alas, I am.
If I wasn't shy, if we were closer, I'd tell him that I didn't appreciate his dropping our practices without my knowledge. I'd tell him how much of my time he's wasted, even though I completely understand why he'd not want to be there. I'd tell him it's bullshit that he's sick- why the hell was he at the dance? yeah, i'm glad tomorrow's the last day of this crap.
never again.

in other news, finals are next week. all today and tomorrow I don't have any classes in order to study.
i've been basically re-teaching myself everything that'll be on the lit test since the only thing I ever did in that class was doodle... xD
excited to just sit and work on it. there's always something going on around here...
tomorrow's his exam. SO GLAD TO HAVE IT OVER WITH ALREADY.
my own was okay-ish; the Steinway felt weirder than when I practiced on it before... :/
there was a dance tonight that I went to.
i feel like I'm back to square one with my personality. always the chill, shy one.
is it wrong to feel pretty once in a while? i guess a major plus of wearing contacts all the time now is that it happens more often... rolleyes
then there are just days where there's no reason for me to feel pretty or silly, but I am anyways...

glasses are ordered; should be in sometime next week.
also have the radio work situation figured out for over christmas.
going home next wednesday; coming back the following Monday, going home again thursday or friday night, coming back the following Sunday night (Christmas Day), going back home again Thursday night again.
THEN i won't leave home until the 9th. xD
finals, schminals. i want sleep.
