Martial Art Style Description: A style developed by the Kapela, a small organization of mercenary assassins based out of Athens, Greece. The style of fighting was created to be used in conjunction with Ortus and Impetus, synthetic hormones injected into practitioners throughout the duration of their training. The injections react with the practitioners' Ki to explosively increase a fighter's offensive capabilities. The Ortus and Impetus injections cause Ki to build up to a high pressure, allowing it to be released so explosively. An advanced technique that combines pressure-point hand-to-hand combat and Ki strikes. A high-pressured Ki surges from the user's body, enhancing their extremities for battle.
Martial Art Restrictions/Information:
-One Ortus injection is required to begin training, the number of injections thereafter increasing by one per new technique learned.
-One Impetus injection is required for stages one, three, and five. (Skia Vima, Lampsi, and Hakko Ken.
-Each injection has side effects including: vomiting, shaking, fever, headache, and minor hallucinations. Side effects last for one real-time day.
Martial Art Technique List:
1. Skia Vima: The user can now use Ki to enhance their legs, which allow them to transport themselves a short distance in a very quick maneuver; known as Phantom Stepping, or Skia Vima. Phantom stepping has been known to leave behind after-images of the user.
2. Vi Tactu: The user can now focus Ki into his/her hands and fingertips, which allow them to deliver damage in a very quick maneuver to the pressure points on the body; known as Force Touching, or Vi Tactu. Force touching has been known to cause severe internal damage to organs and blood vessels.
3. Lampsi: The user focuses her Ki outside of the body, creating a perpetually-moving energy frequency. This energy can be used as a projectile weapon and will release a pulse of energy upon impact. This technique is known as Flashing, or Lampsi. Flashing has been known to cause severe burns upon contact with skin.
4. Venae: The user expels his/her Ki into the air, their enhanced energy causing friction and making a bright flash. Often used as a distraction, this technique gives off a blinding light that lasts for several seconds. This is known as Pulsing, or Venae. Pulsing has been known to cause temporary blindness if direct eye contact is made.
Martial Art Special Finisher Technique:
1. Hakko Ken: This is known as the Great Pulse Fist technique, or Hakko Ken. The user gathers Ki in his/her core and directs it out of their body through their fist. The Ki releases in a pulse, shockwaves causing paralysis in the muscles around the blow.
