This was before I figured out layering, or linework layer. All done with a mouse. I had not gotten into shading the hair terribly much yet, and went with the black instead of dark grey as I do later on for black hair. Because I was not working with layers or linework, and using a mouse, I had to figure out how to do smooth lines as easily as possible. This is what resulted in such tiny art. Lol.
I did however experiment with blush as you can see and I ended up liking that technique. The blushing one does have a bit of shading on her head.
