Inspiration turned Fiction
I'm bored and interested in writing, that's all the reason and the description that I need for this...
Famous Last Words
This...

Crepusculum watched helplessly as untold numbers of Balaur poured through the portals. They were armed to the teeth and ready for a fight. There was no surprise attack to be made from the Daeva at this point, all of it was useless in the long run. All sneaking would accomplish is dead Scouts. The Asmodians would need all the numbers that they could get for this battle.

No... this struggle for survival.

The rest of Asmodae knew not of the destruction that awaited them. They knew not of the people that planned to shed their blood. They knew not of the sacrifices being made by the brave men and women in this place today. They knew not of the people that would give their lives for their safety. That was how the Guardians of Oblivion worked.

His eyes fell back on his comrades; the main members of the Legion. Taika was behind him, playing the part of Brigade General and barking orders at the others. Lumanessa and Rubian were off in the corner and enjoying the last of their peaceful moments. Neither of them were sure if they would survive this encounter with the enemy. None of them really were. This was the greatest fight of their lives.

Every encounter with the Elyos paled in comparison with this.

Felixis was blessing each and every one of them to increase their chances of survival. Mystillix was in her own little area, thinking back on something that escaped the Assassin. And Nyunta, Nyunta was by his side and looking for guidance. His eyes warmed at the sight. He could recall each and every one of their training sessions, their every intimate moment, and the day that she finished her training. It was almost heartbreaking for him to acknowledge that she could be killed.

"Are you sure that you won't run for me? To survive and make sure that our lives aren't forgotten?"

Nyunta looked at him from the corner of his eyes, dancing with mirth at his question. This was probably the fourth time that he'd asked that question, hoping that she'd agree with him and flee the battlefield for somewhere safe and far from the battlefield. But they both knew that she wouldn't. She was far too stubborn for that. "I'm pretty sure, Crep. Just don't die on me, I want to go on a vacation after this."

As Taika finished giving her commands, she turned to each of them and nodded. There was no verbal exchange needed. It was time, time for war, time for them to prove their strength of heart and their love for Asmodae. All of them looked upon the enemy, steeling their resolve. His eyes searched for that of Nyunta, looking into her own crimson orbs.

Crepusculum drew the blades that sat upon his back and leaped down to meet the enemy head-on. There was no traces of fear in his movements, no hesitance at the notion of death. But as he moved to cleave through their numbers, he yelled back up at his once apprentice. Words that could've been his very last.

"The heroes never die! Now come on! We've got a world to save!"
