did you know? 2 the term 'its raining cats and dogs' started from way back when, while people lived in homes with straw and grass roofs, animals and bugs seeking warmth, crawled into the roofs. and when it rained, the animals would fall, hence, the saying; 'its raining cats and dogs' and bugs, which led to the first of canopy beds.
