Age: Looks about late 20's early 30's

Combat type: Close range Swordplay, Relentless assult. Mounted Combat.

Zanpakutō Name: Sutōmucheisā (Storm Chaser)

Shikai: With the call "Ride out!" and a flash of lightning Gen's normal zanpakuto become a heavy metal mace. His shikai seems to bring with it dark clouds and the rumble of thunder whenever it is released and charges itself with electrical reiatsu. His speed is enhanced and he is able to jump from place to place as a bolt of lightning rather than just shunpo. His strikes are enhanced, heavy and hard each swing discharging his electrical power.
His only "defensive move", though he usualy never sees the need for it, he calls 'Storm wall' slamming the mace head down into the ground he brings around him and wall of lightning that is able to block and deflect most energy attacks.

Bankai: Sutōmucheisāsandā no nakigoe (Storm Chaser, Lightning's Roar)
Gen's sword becomes a long hafted maul in the shape of a horse's head a gauntlet covers his other arm with the same equine style. The weapon isn't truely made for combat on foot and is misleading to most until it's true purpose is revealed.
His previous abilities remain in tact though now his entire body radiates sparks and charges of electricity, but it also comes with new power.
Storm's Gale: Spinning his maul above his head like a propeller he can create a whirlwind he is able to send in a straight line releasing it as a tornado charged with lightning
Ride now: Gen's Bankai's true form is reveiled as he summons his steed Maelstrom the a horse made from spirit energy and lightning that serves as Gen's mount in combat. Maelstrom's speed is like that of a lightning bolt and can rival in short straight bursts the effect of a shunpo.
Wedge Formation: Raising his axe and lowering it ready for a charge sparks fly to his sides creating six electrically crafted knights to ride with him giving his charge a much wider wake and much more devastation.
Break formation: During a wedge formation charge Gen can command his knights to break formation as the knights break from the charge to persue the target from different angles.
Strike: His electrical knights are converted to bolts of lightning and immediately converge on his target

Abilities: Shunpo expert, his speed and accuracy are almost unmatched in the sereitie mainly from the boost his zanpakuto gives him

Mounted combat expert. One of the few riders in all of Soul society he is even more so dangerous when on his summoned steed

Sword master. Gen's style is ruthless and he hardly gives up and inch in a fight always prefering to be at close range.

Personality: Gen seems a little too eager to stir up trouble starting brawls with other soul reapers under his command for almost no reason whatsoever. He is rather cold and stubborn to most people not one for making friends and prefers to fight alone having a bit of a temper for people who interrupt him. He is however very loyal.
