In the grand scheme of things, our individual lives mean absolutely nothing. Who ******** cares if you go to college? Who ******** cares what your career is? Who ******** cares how much money you make? You know how much all of those things will mean once you're dead? ABSOLUTELY ******** NOTHING.
Nobody is going to remember you, and they're most likely not going to remember your children or their children's children for anything, either.
What we should be focusing on is our legacy. What are we, as a whole, going to do to ensure the continuance of the human race?
What are biggest issues today that threaten the continuance of our species? How can we fix these issues? What are the obstacles preventing us from solving these issues?
These are the questions you should be asking yourself. Not ******** s**t like,"What should I major in?" "What should my career be?" "How am I going to get a job?"
(Note: Yes, I realize I am coming from a place of privilege to be able to say something like this. However, I am addressing other privileged people whose basic needs ARE being met, and who CAN do something about these issues, but they choose to concern themselves with things that don't really matter. Privilege is a wonderful thing: it allows us to do things that other people cannot. Instead of wasting our privilege, we need to utilize it to everyone, not just ourselves.)
