Skill Name: Air Compression
Skill Rank: E - A - Passive to skills that require it
Public Use: Yes

Description: Molding the property of air itself, the user that normally moves it in gentle currents. While most mages do just that, some focus on compressing the air itself into near physical forms. Be this a wind sword to a sphere of storms. This is a passive skill for the most part and is needed to learn the Compression spells that deal in compacting wind or energy in the form of 'Air Bubbles' At lower ranks, this is relatively weak when used alone and often needs another skill to aid it. (E-C) At higher levels (B-A), the mage can compress higher levels of air all at once and control the pressure much more effectively, although there are no damaging effects it can lower or heighten the pressure in the air around the area. A state of Low air pressure allows the use of a few set wind spells and a state of High Pressure also allows the set use of a few wind spells down the road. Air Compression is not used for anything other than small effects or to use skills needing air compression and pressure.

Description: With a twirl of the fingers, the elementalist controls the elemental properties of air. By directing an area of their choosing, they compress air into a compact orb of translucent magic. This orb then suddenly erupts into a loud bang and delivers blunt force to those around in a three foot radius. While weak, it serves as a base for stronger techniques.

Skill Name: Soul Fire - Blue Blood Burns Blue

Public Use: No - Signature Spell of Michiyo

Description: A rather unique sense of a spell that conjures the fire element in an odd fashion. Instead of a red flickering flame, this spell conjures and creates blue fires instead. The fire is translucent and has the appearance like fire but has a shimmering aura almost as if it is electrified. While this is false, the fire does not burn normally and scorch things clean. Instead it burns only organic material that Michiyo deems a threat. This is a staple spell for all future Soul Fire skills.

Description: A combination of using air and fire in one spell. The knowledge of Air Burst must be known in order to use this spell. By following the same principle of compressing air molecules, the user takes heat and energy and infuses that inside of the compressed air as well. With a snap of the finger at the directed area, this erupts into a crackling display of fire and embers similar to fire crackers, hence it's name. It delivers blunt force to anyone within three feet and causes minor burns, it can disorient for a brief moment with the loud pop and bright flash of fire.

Skill Name: Soul Flame - Paper Lantern

Public Use: No - Signature technique of Michiyo

Description: Sometimes seen as an upgrade to Fire Cracker due to the similarity of how the two work. Using air to suspend a bit of energy, Michiyo crafts a thin layer of blue fire around it around the compressed air inside of the shaped flame. It can come off as a round object, a cube or a rectangular prism and it illuminates much like a lantern during a festival. This almost weightless forming of air and magic will form normally high up in the air before slowly floating down to the ground, which will not burst until a desired target comes or when Michiyo wills it to explode. The blue flames will not harm anything but things that Michiyo deems it to, making it possible to hold the "paper" lantern within her hands, same as anyone else. It requires magic to have it burst prematurely for even as a hammer to the lantern will only cause a loud pop and air to escape the confines of the mystery flame. The flame is unique in a way for being even able to float atop of water although the surfaces the fire touches will dampen to a low blue glow, showing only magic binding the air together. When ready to explode, the magic contained within the lantern erupts outwards much like air burst and hits up to five feet, enough to splinter wood and burn skin. This skill is still a minor attack.

Description: A mixture of air and fire, the elementalist combines the two for a simple signalling technique to call an ally, light up a dark place or just to annoy someone. They gather heat into their hand or staff and combines it with the properties of air to fuel the flames, so to speak. This can be fired at the tip of the fingers or gathered in the palm of the hand to catch flammable material aflame (such as campfires) or to shoot through the air of which it will burn brightly to light up an area for signalling and the like. If it hits another person or animal, it will do nothing but burn their skin as it is not meant for combat.
