Going to Otakon was a three hour drive and a spur of the moment thing, so I didn't book a hotel and just went Saturday...
I was cosplaying Colt from Monster Rancher 2. I didn't think anyone would recognize me but someone went up to me and went "Colt!". I couldn't believe it, not a single person approached me at AnimeNext.
I saw a Kino cosplayer and went up to her and she hugged me, saying "Thank you for recognizing me!" cat_4laugh
Also remember seeing TMGS2 cosplayers, the Waka-Sensei gave me a New Year's Card, which I am cherishing.
I have only been to animenext before, and the sheer size of otakon had left me speechless. I wasn't even able to absord most of the things because when putting the stuff I got in the dealer's room in the car I left the schedule in the car. (>_< wink And as a result all I got to do was the game room and the masquerade. There were so many awesome panels and guests I missed.
The thing was I had bronchitis. I thought I was better on Friday so I didn't take my medication on Saturday and on the way home I had an attack of coughing of short of breath. I still feel really sick, too...
