Myself? I'm with my family for turkey dinner. At the moment we're discussing safety of younger drivers and the statistics of how many teenagers are still driving distractedly. (Cell phones and whatnot.)
While we're on this subject, I hope that all of you Gaians who can drive please drive safely and without being distracted! REMEMBER that this is one of the most dangerous times of the year- not only is the weather absolutely terrible, but there's a lot of distracted and under-the-influence driving. Make sure you put your cell phones away. You can always talk about your New Years plans when you get to where you're going!
If you've had a few celebratory drinks, no matter if you have convinced yourself if you're "fine" or not, please get someone to drive you home, stay at a friends place, sleep in your vehicle (be sure to bring lots of blankets, it will probably be very cold!) or call a taxi.
Remember that it's not just your life you're risking!
