My Thoughts and Stuff
Where I rant about my opinions, preferences, what I find ridiculous, what I understand, everything and anything.
Nektaria - The Sun Goddess
Name: Nektaria -- is her more human appropriated name. Her legitimate name is Thea.
Nickname(s): Aria, Nekkie, Thea
Age: Absolutely timeless, but she appears to be in her late teens to early twenties.
Gender: The goddesses of the heavens who have dominion over the universe do not recognize gender as a real variable, however they are all in-fact female by human standards.
Sexuality: Because of the lack of gender acknowledgment (until they picked up human descriptions), she isn't really confined to any gender (or lack thereof) bias. This is often known as pansexuality by the human definition.
Position: One of the seats on The Council. In terms of virtues she best represents generosity, however, her actual position is the goddess of the sun and her most powerful element is fire.
Family:
Her parents did, at one point, exist in the heavens, but you cannot ask her how long ago this was because in the heavens they have no real idea of a time measurement. She just knows that it has been many human years since they disappeared. Her twin sister is Yue, goddess of the Moon and represents Diligence (also has an affinity for water). She is Nektaria's complete and total opposite in personality. They look identical other than the genetic anomaly (if you can really call it that from a heavenly standpoint) that her hair is pitch black. They also have a little sister who governs the stars, but she is currently in a habitual state of uneasy rest in one of the human worlds, as she was taken and placed there by the Sins.
Story:
She and a handful of other ladies created The Council after the Sins played dirty and kidnapped her younger sister -- their reasoning was that her father left the sin's council for the heavens. Originally, the divine beings had a peace treaty with the Sins stating that they would exist in harmony, not one without the other -- closely relating to some beliefs of Taoism -- however that promise was broken when they took the young goddess. After another war broke out between the Virtues and the Sins/Gods the main Goddesses, Thea and her sister (and some of the others from the council) made a large BOOM and gave up their perfect immortality to become semi-mortal and strip the Sins of their immortality just enough so that they could be defeated. The main Sins, as well as their lesser followers are now spread across worlds and are trying to tip the balance in their power. The fallen angels (most of those on the council) also go from world to world -- sometimes waking up as human versions of themselves, and sometimes knowing full well what is going on -- in order to not only stop the Sins, but also to help rescue the fallen goddess.
Personality:
Although she is an immortal (or, depending on where in the story we are, semi-mortal) being, she is anything but perfect. Therefore, even in full goddess (angel) form she portrays emotions like anger, as she holds grudges, lust, as she does have companions, frustration, sadness, etc -- the main difference being these things are more controlled when she is in an angelic form. Both forms show sass and sarcasm the more one gets to know them, even when she'd go out of her way for that individual. In this way, she's quite tsundere. She can be fairly motherly and loving, but she can also be fierce and stubborn. Her best quality is her generosity, in or out of human form -- not just with material objects, but with her thoughts of the world, her feelings, etc. Her worst is her inability to easily forgive, which is something that is difficult as a member of the council.
Appearance:
Long, gold hair that sometimes curls into ringlets, like the color of the sun, blue eyes like the color of the sky, a pale complexion, like the light that is created by fire. Fairly tall when in angel form, about average height in human form.

Trivia:

If you see her with her angel wings fully extended she is probably still fully immortal.

If she has no wings, she is full human in form.

If her wings are placed behind her, it means part of her immortality is gone. This does not mean she is a weakling by any stretch of the imagination (though, there was also loss of power after the "Fall" wink . It just means she's a much easier target to kill.

Her best stats are her speed and attack power/magic, with an incredibly low endurance threshold.

Many believed the sins also killed her parents, however this is simply not true. They were mad at her father, but in reality her parents gave up their immortality due to a huge balance shift in the universe. They still exist as humans and have some strange notion of what is going on.

In my canon goddess = angel. It's not really above angels as much as to distinguish them from demi mortals.

Nektaria can't cook.

She's always getting herself into mischief.

Her more human form is a bit more curious and irresponsible, as well. She can also be childish, in and out of angelic form.
