40 Anime Questions
1:What is your #1 favorite anime?

I have no idea. I can't pick. Let me ramble just a bit so that I may come to a conclusion. Gurren Lagann was my favorite for a long while. Katekyo Hitman Reborn was my obsession for a while...I love One Piece too...and even though I also love Shingeki, I wouldn't call it my number one favorite...I just finished Steins;Gate and that was really good too...But...I guess I'm going to have to say that Gintama would currently take my top, even though the anime is no longer airing. I just...love it.

2:Has an anime ever made you cry?

Plenty. Damn it, Clannad. Steins;Gate made me tear up at parts. Same with Gintama. And One Piece. And Fairy Tail. And a bunch of other shows.

3:Which anime made you laugh the hardest?

The most recent I can think of is Kyoukai no Kanata. Just...Hiroomi and Aki were just both hilarious with their sister complex and glasses fetish and...I enjoyed that show more than I should have and I got such a good laugh from it.

4:If you could make a spin-off of any anime, what would it be?

Hmm...lemme check my anime list. Oh! I just remembered. My brother and I have been talking about a Gintama video game. How like...you could walk around town to interact with the people of Kabuki-cho, accepting requests for jobs as Yorozuya, even playing the major arcs like the Benizakura arc and all that stuff. I know that there are games for Gintama already out but personally, we've never played them and we have no idea what they're like sooooo yeah.

8:Who is your favorite anime character?

Seriously? Uuuuuummm ionno...Overall, I can't pick. I can only pick when I'm given the name of an anime. Though, Hibari Kyoya from KHR popped into my head so I guess I'll say him for now...?

Hibari Kyoya from Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
Levi from Shingeki no Kyojin

23:What is the most times you've re-watched an anime?

I have no idea. I've lost count :c

24:Name [1] anime you wish everyone would watch

Gintama. Definitely. A lot of people are put off by it because it's mostly comedy and parodies and the episodes are completely random. But, when things get serious with the major arcs and stuff...as my own completely personal biased opinion, Gintama has some of the best fight scenes in the shonen genre and I've never gotten tired of the fight scenes. Plus, there are some episodes which can teach you a damn good life lesson and hell...the episode titles themselves are life lessons.

25:What is an anime you regret watching?

I was about to say none, but then I thought of one. I don't regret watching the anime as a whole...but I regret watching its second season. Kuroshitsuji II. I didn't like it. At all. I hated the ending of the anime, I hated Claude. I felt sorry for Alois but he was also a d**k. And Hannah...just no. The anime would've been fine if they just left it off at the first season where Sebastian was about to take Ciel's soul. But no.

But, I am excited for the new season of Kuroshitsuji, which will be the Noah's Ark Circus and the Murder Mystery. Two of my most favorite arcs in the manga.

26:You get to have [1] anime character as your waifu/husbando in real life, who do you choose?

Reborn from KHR. Either as an infant or as an adult. Idgaf. Gimmie.

27:Which anime character are you most like?

I have no idea.

28 biggrin o you watch a new anime because you think it will be good, or because its popular?

I think a little bit of both with my own added personal taste. Like...I watched Steins;Gate when it first came out, but stopped on like...the second episode because I have no idea why. But after hearing some good stuff about and so that my brother would stop nagging me to watch it, I finally did. And I'm glad I did. I see trailers that people I subscribe on youtube post about what top animes they're looking forward to, and I judge whether or not I'm going to be watching it if it catches my interest. Otherwise, it's generous curiosity.

29:Has an anime's fanbase ever made you hesitant to watch an anime?

So far, no. And I want to keep it that way.

30:How many anime episodes is 'ideal' for you?

Pfft. Screw 'ideal'. Ah but no. I don't think it would be fair for me to answer that. Because for me, the number of episodes is decided on how the anime pans out. A good example of that would be Togainu no Chi. I think it would have been better, story wise, if there were more episodes in it. If it had the standard 25-26 episodes, the characters would have a chance to have their stories properly told and dealt with instead of being so mushed together and condensed in just 13 episodes. I can watch how many whatever episodes there are for an anime. All I care about is whether the number of episodes fits the anime enough.

31:Have you ever watched an anime with over 23 episodes?

Seriously? I've watched/watching the Big 3 animes. I've watched Fairy Tail, Gintama, Fullmetal Alchemist, and a bunch of others over a mere 23. Besides, most animes are like...26 episodes long.

32:If you could make a game for an anime of your choice, what would it be and why?

Natsume Yuujinchou. The world of that anime is endless and anything could happen. I think it would just be nice to play as beloved Natsume, helping out the Yokai, stopping the exorcist from unnecessarily harming the yokai and vice versa, attending class with his friends and so on and so forth. Just a nice slice of life thing.

33:Would you ever watch an anime with over 100 episodes?

Please look at number 31.

34:Have you ever watched an anime only because you liked a specific character?

With no prior knowledge of anything revolving around the show? Yes. Shiki from Togainu no Chi. I saw a bunch of pictures of him and he is just drop dead sexy. Seeing pics of him drew me to TnC which I learned just a little bit of its origins. I had gotten the gist of the overall plot and all. Watched the anime just to squeal over Shiki and then played the game about 5 years later xD

35:Have you ever dropped an anime, if so why?

Either because it was too slow paced for me, stopped watching it for a while because I was distracted and then just dropped it, I was damn annoyed, or I just completely lost interest.

36:In your opinion, what makes a good anime?

As my own personally biased opinion, an anime that would appeal to me personally is an anime with nice action/adventure, mixed with comedy, drama, and maybe even a hint of romance. Characters that aren't too stereotypical. The girls aren't useless piece of asses, the boys won't be pussies and pushed around by the girls... the characters need to realize that some sacrifice is necessary and they can't protect everyone. That they need to focus on the present and the future. Romance isn't forced. It's something that needs to happen naturally. Oh and. Not too much harem. Ecchi is fine as long as it isn't too much either. I don't mind the romance being between a few characters, but it's mostly the platonic relationships that I adore the most. A guy and a girl can have a relationship that doesn't evolve into love. Seeing a relationship between a guy and a girl where they know they care about each other and have each other's backs is something that needs to be shown more often.

37:Name a popular anime you love

One Piece

38:Name a popular anime you hate

I don't really hate the anime. I was just immensely disappointed with the path it took.
Sword Art Online.

39:Is there an anime you wish was more popular?

I would say Natsume Yuuchinjou. Sure it's not action-y and all that, but it's such a nice slice of life anime that is such a breather from all that shonen stuff. Sure, there are youkais and all but...there's just something about that show that gives me such a tranquil feeling. The ost is mostly calm and relaxing and it's a show where you don't have to think much. It's a show where you can just sit back and relax on your couch and just enjoy for what it is.

40:Thoughts on live-action adaptations?

I can only see live actions on slice of life animes. Save for Death Note. Loved the L Change the World movie. No matter how amazing Japan may be, I don't think they would be able to reenact such superpower shows.
