The year is 2026. A year after the apocalypse. One year after all recognizable life vanished from Earth. Some were prepared. Others were not. Those that remained have created a new world, a world beneath the ruins of the previous one. Now, man has emerged into a world they can scarcely recognize as Earth. What once was lush rain-forests are now dry-boned deserts, and oceans are constantly freezing and melting. Mountains are covered in poisonous plants and trees. Nothing and no one is safe anymore. With creatures that have adapted to the harsh and nearly inhospitable planet, monstrous animals much like the creatures of hell. The weather is unpredictable, and as deadly as the landscape. With acid rain and debris-strewn dust storms, tsunamis and massive volcanoes, the world is constantly changing. The humans can travel only at night, as the sun gets much too hot to travel by day and firestorms are common. With only a few resources, and each other, these young humans must adapt to their new surroundings, or die trying. Welcome to the daRcsYde, the daRcsYde Ae.
