my story 6
My head hurt from having the dream but i tried my best to ignore it. I walked down stairs then outside. "If only i could find that gold and black dragon" I sighed. Then I looked to my left and saw smoke in the disstance and with my enhanced cat senses i could also hear screaming. I started running torward the smoke at sonic speed I got there in no time. I gasped at what i saw. "Th-this is my village, and i-it's being attacked bye dragons". I took a step forward but stopped when I saw my father fending off a dragon i soon noticed this wasn't just any dragon this was the black and gold leader. With out a second thought i dashed over to them. My father saw me and almost cried with joy "Catgirl is that you? y-y-you've grown so much". "Dad this isn't a time for a family reunion" I looked up at the dragon and to my surprise he spoke to me. "Catgirl you have come back I will kill you right after I am done with your pathetic father" he said in a low almost echoing voice. "no you won't!!!!" i screamed "for I am the one that will kill you!!!!". "ha ha persistant are you? well maybe I should go for you first you'd make a good apatizer"He snarled then he picked up his claw and swung it at me. Almost instintly i jumped over his claw and drew my electric blade "You'll have to do better then that!!!!" I then ran at the monster and slashed at his stomuch. this made him shreak with rage "you will pay for that!!!!". He took a deep breath and shot a blast of fire torward me. I put my sword in front of me and held off the flame. Once it ended i jumped up to his face and swung my sword it slashed right accross his eye. He then fell to the ground in pain and lay there motionless. i walked over to him sword in hand i put it against the scar that my father had made years ago ready for the final strike. I slowly lifted my sword up and i whispered "finally" but before i could bring my blade upon his neck my father stood up and walked over to me with a stick helping him to walk."don't kill him" he whispered. I looked up into his face his hair has started to turn gray for i havn't seen him for almost 10 years and the look on his face let me know he wasn't joking. "why shouldn't i kill him he ended the life of my mother he deserves it!!!". "No he doesn't.....no one deserves to die. But if there is one thing i learned over the years it's that the people who kill and enjoy it are the truly evil and that is not what i raised you to be killing this dragon would just cause more fights and battles and i don't want that and you shouldn't either". I stood there taking in all that my father said i then nodded and noticed that the dragon was moving he slowly stood up. "you could have killed me in an instant but you didn't i have greatly underestimated you and your tribe maybe next time we meet we'll be fighting side by side" he turned and left. I just looked at him flaberghasted as he flew away. "do you see now Catgirl fighting isn't always the answer and what you did has just earned you a new allie but remember no one deserves to die and there is always a way to avoid violence...also if you look hard enough you can find light even in the darkest of hearts.". I ran over to my father and hugged him "father please come with me to The Demon Cat Clan i know you will be welcomed there.". "No thanks Catgirl i must stay with the tribe and protect it from harm you go on". I nodded again, turned, and started to walk away but i noticed i was smiling even though i didn't kill the dragon and get my revenge i felt happy that a life was spared.
