Since I've been gone so long i decided to catch up on the manga in the gaia world. I started from the beginning and it took me most of yesterday to get to where i last left off (when sentinel and overseer first did the christmas cheer thing to get their powers back. Im kind of amazed to see the growth that's happened with the manga portrayal of events. The older stuff only made sense when you'd been a part of the events in between the comics, but the newer stuff seems less broken up, like someone who's been absent can make more sense of it.
Also, I forgot how much I adore Louie! I think these comics tend to make you hate a character at least once or twice (emphasizing that no one is perfectly lovable except maybe edmund) but I get so excited when i see louie. I was still a big time gaian when he first arrived as a NCP and i guess my interest in the character started there (i was also obsessed with vampires big time pre-twilight). He was just like the first character who wasn't already there when i started, you know? Anyway I'm getting off topic.
It's good to see old friends, and to see the emerging new ones.
