She heard a strange sound on the wind,it was the wind,yet it was not. 2 horses rose to one knee,disturbing the slumbering red foal,who suddenly sprang to it's feet. She was thinking this fola had found it's feet very quickly,when a sound came at the hides draped across the cave entrance.Chaleha nickered in a questioning sound,which pretty much echoed 2's own thoughts.
As the hide began to move with pressure from the other side,they could hear plainly a snorting noise.The foal and the girl huddled that much tighter in the cave,then 2 decided fire would repel what ever was at the door.Or she hoped so at any rate. 


Standing on the other side of the hides that blocked the cave door, Safi was sniffing curiously at them, trying to fathom exactly what their purpose was. From the smell, he knew that they were animal skins, but what they were doing in this strange place he didn't know. It sort of reminded him of the conical dwelling that his two-legger lived in, but this seemed like hides against a cliff. Very strange.

Still, he had heard a foal's voice coming from...the other side of the hides; perhaps it was trapped? Raising his head, he nickered pleasantly a greeting to the other Soquili, windering if it knew how to get out. 

Chaleha tensed,that was not the voice of any creature the foal had previously heard before.And yet it was oddly familiar and comforting all at the same time,as the foal decided it to be friendly and moved toward the hide,2 watched in amazement.Knowing there would be times the youngster would do things she would have no control over,she felt horrified at allowing it to move towards the door.She was not afraid,however,realizing the sound to be a Soquili sound.Still even though she had seen the demon,this nicker from the other side did not have the malice or anger in it's tone.
Chaleha moved towards the hide,then stopped.Unsure of how to open the strange smelling block,between itself and the Soquili on the other side.
So in a very loud childish whinney the foal voiced it's dismay!
