Here I am, finally making a journal entry anyone can view! It won't be long, I just wanted to mention something nice that happened to me. So, I haven't brought it up anywhere else but I had been looking for an electric blanket for a while now. I spent three weeks checking out Wal Marts in the area, only to find they were all sold out and didn't expect to get any more. I don't have a heater in my room right now, and it gets cold, so I couldn't give up.

So one day we made it out to a Big Lots in Orange. I knew for a fact that they had some, if not in that particular store, at least that they were sold in that chain. I looked for one, up and down the home aisles, but couldn't find any. I went ahead and asked someone working there, and they told me they were sold out as well. I was ready to go then, but since everyone was still shopping, I settled for milling around too. I was on the snack aisle when I heard someone say "Ma'am!" I looked up, but looked away. I really didn't think that they were looking for me. Then I heard them call to me again, and to my surprise, they had a blanket with them.

It was two of the girls working there that had heard me asking for a blanket. One of them went to the back on a whim, and spotted it hiding on a shelf. It really was the last one. They had been trying to find me to give it to me. I was so happy, I didn't care if it was full price. I bought it, even if it was actually just a throw. That was really nice of them.
