im so glad i found the musicians that i did in 2014-15

and im so glad i listened to the music that i did

i kinda gained this subconscious music snobbery where i refused to listen to most top hits, but last summer i decided to listen to a ton and it was just so good

and i found out about charli xcx and listening to her music helped me get over a breakup + helped me get through the stress of my mom having cancer + half of this school year

then finding out about hozier has made me really musically inspired and his music is helping me get through the last half of this school year

i wouldn't be who i am, and i wouldn't be as healed, today without them and their music
