What's with the professional princess thing? If you are not royalty from another country, then you are not a princess (maybe a diva or a prima-donna but not a princess). At 19 you are much too grown up to be your daddy's little princess; however, you don't ever have to outgrow being a daddy's girl!! My dad has been dead for almost 29 years, but I still miss him.
Don't give up journalling; it is a wonderful way to discover your own thoughts & feelings about life's adventures and great for helping you develop your writing skills. This from the person who has been very negligent about doing her own journal regularly --- can I use old age as an excuse?
Working even just part-time to supplement my social security takes so much out of me that it has taken me these six months of retirement to recover sufficiently to sit down and do serious beading at my beading board again. Today I am going to sit down and make a new supply of wishy-washies as our last one that my mom made for me is on its last legs of kitchen dish use (yes, me dear old mother is still alive at 99 but is in a nursing home now & went legally blind a few years ago as she was developing senile dementia so staying in her own place or living with family became impossible; the situation nearly gave my older sister a nervous breakdown by the time I moved back up to Iowa from Texas).
PM me or start the official friendship request process if you think you might like to try being friends with an older lady. Go ahead and check out my profile to help in developing a better picture of what type of person I am before you make up your mind! I do enjoy getting to know budding young Gaians and "adopting" them as my online grandchildren so I can surprise them with little gifts now & then. I'll try not to inundate you with my "pearls of wisdom" too often, but once in a while they do slip out --- it is the mother in me!
Have a great week & God bless,
"Emmie"
