"Cousins, the game has begun." A deep female voice said out of the darkness.
"The key pieces have begun already to collect their pawns." A soft male voice said as pale light began to fillter out of the bubble mage screens.
"The weaker pieces will move first, and die quickly. Then the real game will begin." A whinny male voice said from the direction of a golden rod.
"Do not be impatient cousins, if the game is over too quickly, what fun will that be?" A deep masculine voice said from a ruby sunken into the metal of another golden rod.
"Yes, I agree. I'm interested to see the first stages of this, our children's game" A soft feminen voice said from the diamond sunk into one of five golden rods which formed a circle in the center of a golden chamber. The glowing mage bubbles floated around the chamber, images began flashing inside them.
"How will this game open I wonder?" said the soft male voice from the saphire rod. A single mage bubble floated into the middle of the circle, and image glowing clearly inside of it. Two figers stood face to face, fire and lightning flashing from their fingertips, aimed for each other.
"Those are two of your children, are they not Catae?" The deep masculin voice asked.
"Yes," responded the deep female voice from the pearl rod. "Tadish and Miir. It's an even match."
"Yes, they're both equally weak." Taunted the whinny voice from the emerald rod.
"You won our game by a fluke Mito." The deep male voice warned the emerald. "Your children are no stronger than you."
"Herlag, your own children are the most likely to survive I'd say." The soft male voice spoke to the ruby.
"You're own children have a chance as well Zigero." The diamond female said.
"Your's may have some problems I'm afraid Jensi." The saphire said.
"They will do their best. As will all of our children."
