It's hard to believe, looking at the release lists, that there are hardly anymore games coming out on the PS2 this year. Sony's machine is by far the most prolific modern console in American homes, so it seems a given that it'd be the machine with the most (and the most-frequent) releases. It's just so close to the holidays now that every publisher has already gotten its stuff out there in time for people to buy it.
If you're still looking for your latest fix, you might want to check out Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, the startlingly edgier sequel to last year's surprise action-puzzle hit. This new game has a very different tone from The Sands of Time, but the devilishly tricky environmental puzzles are still here in full force, and the fighting is a lot better to boot.
