the real reason Gary Oak hates Ash.
you know its bad when when your watching pokemon generations and learn to true reason why blue/green/Gary or what ever he is called hates Ash/Red. is because the simple fact that when they where battling on the S.S Anne Gary's raticate got injured pretty badly and no matter how hard Gary tried easing his Pokemon's pain with berries/potions his raticate needed a nurse joy not having one on the ship his pokemon aka raticate died and he buries it in Lavender Town hint to why Red/Ash sees him there and he seems upset in the Ash story Ash and friends thinks Gary is upset over team rocket hurting cubone's mom but in the new sires we learn its because he lost his raticate. he then pulls himself together and swears on his dead Pokemon's grave he will follow his dream and become the best pokemon trainer their is. he ends up filling up his pokedex while training to bet the elite. he then defeats the elite only for Ash/Red to defeat him a week later and his grandfather instead of phrasing Gary for beating them is congratulating Red/Ash for becoming the new champion. although he kept his promise to raticate Ash/Red pretty much crushed his dreams of becoming the best trainer and instead of him getting praised he has Oak telling him if he would of train his pokemon harder then Ash/Red would of never beaten him. then to make things worse Ash/Reds mom was there to cheer him on when Gary had no open because he was an orphan & Daisy was to young to travel by herself to go watch her big brother. filled with anger Gary gives up pokemon training and decides to be a pokemon professor and learn how to bring fossils back to life and ends up reviving an areodactly and befriends it. he continues his research in hopes of one day bring his dead raticate back to life.
